Dimitar Berbatov has made his prediction on the Arsenal vs Manchester United Premier League clash that will kick-off on Sunday.
Man United head into the game coming off the back of a 3-2 comeback win over Nottingham Forest last time out to face Arsenal, who succumbed to a 2-2 draw at home to ten men Fulham.
The Red Devils trailed 2-0 after four minutes but three goals from Manchester United’s midfielders Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes turned the event around at Old Trafford.
Arsenal also went a goal behind after one minute but fought their way back in the second half and led 2-1 until a late equaliser from the visitors handed Mikel Arteta his first draw.
Both teams haven’t had the best performances this season so far. Berbatov wants Manchester United to get all three points at the Emirates but concedes that a draw will be a fair result for Erik ten Hag’s men, given their poor form away from home.
Speaking ahead of the showdown, Berbatov told BetFair: “I want to see goals and entertainment, but points are the most important.
“I’d like to see Kai Havertz play and see what he can really do, he has everything to prove he’s a good player. Hopefully he can start and get involved and play his best with his passing.
“Although I want to see a Manchester United win, I think this will be a tricky game and leaving the Emirates with a point won’t be bad considering how United have done away from home recently.”
Prediction: 2-2
Arsenal are unbeaten in the Premier League this season after three matches [2W1D] while United lost 2-0 at Tottenham last month but won Wolves and Nottingham Forest.
The last time Mikel Arteta’s men hosted Man United, they won 3-2. Both Premier League giants met in pre-season and the Red Devils won 2-0.
