Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford’s situation at Old Trafford, according to reports.

Rashford was one of the undroppables at Man United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but following the sacking of the Norwegian and the appointment of Ralf Rangnick, the Engand international’s future at United is uncertain after losing his starting role to Anthony Elanga.

Things aren’t certain for the 24-year-old forward at United, with reports leading several fine forwards to Manchester United this summer.

There are suggestions that the Man United academy graduate could plan his way out of the Theatre of Dreams if his situation doesn’t improve under Erik ten Hag.

And according to Daily Telegraph, Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on Marcus Rashford’s situation at United in the event they failed to strengthen in their wide areas.

The report also holds that Rashford has set his sights on winning back his place at Manchester United under the Dutchman. And will up the process by undergoing some intense warm weather training in the US next month.

The chances of Rashford joining Bayern Munich look thin, even though there are speculation about Robert Lewandowski joining Barcelona this summer.

Ten Hag made his first interview as Manchester United boss on Monday and was asked a series of questions, including about new signings.

When asked if United need new players, the Dutch tactician said: “I just said, I’m still in the process of analysing — I’m looking forward to working with these players.

“The season before, this squad was second in the Premier League so there’s huge potential.”
