Bruno Fernandes sat Sanchez down to double Manchester United lead 2-0 Brighton

Manchester United have doubled their lead over Brighton, thanks to a beautiful goal from Bruno Fernandes.

Man United opened the scoring early in the second half through a brilliant finish from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Midway through the second half, Ronaldo created what could have been his assist when he unselfishly passed the ball from a goalscoring position to Fernandes but the Portuguese midfielder would surprisingly fail to beat Sanchez from a close-range.

As a result, ten men Brighton and Hove Albion grew into the game and came close to pulling a late equaliser but they were not lucky enough to do so.

In the last minute of the game, Bruno Fernandes ran down the right-wing, with Cristiano Ronaldo providing help through the middle, but the ex-Sporting star felt he could finish what he started and he wasn’t wrong.

He dummied at Brighton’s goalie upon making his way through into Brighton’s penalty box and Sanchez had to sit on the pitch, making him helpless but Bruno Fernandes powerful, to hit the ball effortlessly into the back of the net.

Manchester United 1-0 Brighton and Hove Albion.
