Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has heaped praise on Paul Pogba after AC Milan victory.
Man United successfully reached the Europa League quarter-final after eliminating Milan at San Siro.
The first tie ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford and the Red Devils needed a must win or at least a 2-2 draw in Italy in order to proceed further in the competition.
Manchester United struggled to make impact in the first half and defended for the majority of the first half.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was forced to make a change at the break after Marcus Rashford suffered a light injury that couldn’t let him continue the game and as a result, Paul Pogba replaced the 23-year-old forward.
It took the World Cup winner four minutes to give the fans something to cheer about after scoring a goal in the 49th minute and that would go on to eliminate the Serie A club at their own backyard.
Fernandes, who had a sceptical game against AC Milan, took to Instagram to react to Paul Pogba’s goal and United’s success in the Europa League.
Bruno Fernandes said: “‘The Italian job’ with Mr PaulPogba. Quarter finals, here we come.”
And the France international reacted to Fernandes’ post.
Pogba wrote: “Sono veloce frate hahaha thanks you brother let’s go ??”
Manchester United will now turn their focus to their trip to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.
And also, the Europa League quarter-final draw will take place on Friday at 12:00 GMT.
