Manchester United defender Eric Bailly doesn’t need to be on the pitch before he could put smiles on the face of his fans after taking a sly dig at Harry Maguire.

Man United had to violate every odd to stage a sound 2-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday evening in the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes scored the opener from the penalty spot in the 2nd minute after Gabriel Jesus fouled Anthony Martial in the penalty box.

Early in the second half, Luke Shaw scored the second goal after a brilliant run down the left-wing, with Marcus Rashford providing the assist.

Manchester City did enough to get a consolation goal at least but Eric Bailly tells Harry Maguire he has ‘big head’ after Manchester United’s win at Man City backline was on their front foot and always alert on the ball.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to start Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof ahead of Eric Bailly for some reason and the Sweden international did fantastically well at the back.

After the final whistle, Harry Maguire took to Instagram to celebrate his side’s victory over Man City but his social media activity would take a slight shift after Eric Bailly called him a ‘big head’.

“One for the fans,” Harry Maguire said on Insta.

Eric Bailly replied: “Top performance captain you have a big head!!!!”

Manchester United are eleven points behind Manchester City in the Premier League and will take on AC Milan at home on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
