Ajax manager Erik ten Hag has refused to comment on Manchester United’s result against Arsenal, insisting that he has respect for everyone at the club.

Man United this week announced the Dutchman as their next manager and will take over from Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.

United have endured mixed performances this season, which led to the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November and had questions marks all over Rangnick.

It’s obvious Ten Hag is aware of United’s struggles on the pitch this term and today’s defeat to Arsenal got added to a pile of poor performances from The Red Devils.

Erik Ten Hag told Sky Sports: “I don’t have any opinion about Manchester United‘s results because I show respect for people who are at Man Utd, and I am responsible for Ajax and that is what I comment on.”
