Fan spotted 'underrated' pass from Cristiano Ronaldo during Brighton clash

A fan has spotted the moment Cristiano Ronaldo made what he described as an ‘underrated’ pass during Manchester United’s clash against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Man United, who were winless in three matches, bounced back to winning ways on Tuesday night when they beat The Seagulls 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring early in the second half with a superb strike. The goal came after he had created a big chance for Jadon Sancho in the first half but the England international failed to beat the goalkeeper.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner didn’t stop there. Ronaldo pulled off an outrageous through ball when he put Bruno Fernandes through with a sublime flick.

Unfortunately, the pass didn’t yield a goal due to how Fernandes received the service but yet, many fans were left in awe over the quality of the pass.

Manchester United interim manager was pleased with Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance and claimed it was Ronaldo’s best performance under his watch.

“It was a good performance from Cristiano,” said Rangnick. “In the last weeks the best performance by him.”

On Ronaldo’s goal, Rangnick said: “An amazing goal, important one. Good performance by Cristiano. Always trying to help his team-mates.”

Bruno Fernandes scored Manchester United’s second goal in the last-minute of the game, with Paul Pogba providing the assist.
