Four Manchester United players are happy to leave the club this summer

As many as four senior players are reportedly happy to leave Manchester United this summer in a bid to get more playing time elsewhere.

Man United are expected to offload some players in the summer in a bid to create space for Erik ten Hag’s forthcoming signings.

While the likes of Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Lee Grant and Nemanja Matic have all left the club, a few more senior players are reportedly set on following suit.

According to Daily Mail, the likes of Dean Henderson, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are ‘happy’ to walk out of Manchester United this summer.

Henderson is attracting strong interest from the newly promoted side, Nottingham Forest. Several reports are claiming that a loan move is more likely but a permanent fee isn’t ruled out.

Martial spent the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla but the short spell didn’t turn out the way the Frenchman wanted. As a result, the La Liga side are not planning on making his deal permanent and United are open to selling the ex-Monaco star. Martial wants to leave, hence it’s a mutual agreement.

Jones and Bailly have struggled for game time. The former was close to joining Bordeaux last season but the deal didn’t go through while the latter was a target for AC Milan.

AS Roma recently showed interest in the former Villarreal defender but the pair are reportedly happy with their decisions of leaving Manchester United this summer.
