'Frustrated' Bruno Fernandes sends Manchester United teammates message after AC Milan draw

Bruno Fernandes admits Manchester United performance against AC Milan was ‘frustrating’ but believes there is still much left to play for.

Man United were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw against Milan at home and will need to score at least one goal at away and avoid a defeat in other to proceed to the quarter-final of the Europa League.

Amad Diallo opened the scoring early in the second half with a superb header, thanks to Bruno Fernandes for providing such a world-class through ball.

But with less than a minute to go at Old Trafford, Simon Kjaer scored the equaliser to hand AC Milan an away goal advantage.

Man United will be eliminated from the Europa League competition if they failed to score a single goal at San Siro but Bruno Fernandes believes the Red Devils are capable of going through.

Fernandes said on Instagram: “Frustrating to concede a last minute goal but there’s still much to play next week!”

Manchester United will look to bounce back to winning ways when they welcome West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are in the 2nd position in the Premier League and are 14 points behind Manchester City, who have played a game more.
