'Frustrated' Ralf Rangnick reacts to Manchester United draw vs Watford

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick describes the clash against Watford as ‘frustrating’, insisting that his side could have been sharper in the box.

Man United dropped valuable two points when they played a goalless draw against The Hornets at Old Trafford, despite dominating the visitors in the entire game.

United missed loads of chances and could have headed into the break with two goals plus but unfortunately, they settled in a full-time draw.

Ralf Rangnick thought his attackers were not sharp enough in the opposition box, though admitting his side did everything right except finishing their chances off.

“It is [frustrating], we did everything other than scoring,” Rangnick said shortly after the match. “Hard to take that result. We were in full control for almost the full game.

“We need to be sharper in front of goal and can hardly create more chances than we did. A frustrating afternoon.

“If I look back at the last three months, we have given away that many chances and that many points with draws, we should have four or six more points and the situation would be completely different.”

The draw means Manchester United remain in the 4th position with 47 points but are only two points off Arsenal, who have three games in hand.

United’s chances of finishing in the top-four in the Premier League are in the balance, given the unplayed matches their top-four rivals currently have.
