Georgina reveals what Cristiano Ronaldo told her while Real Madrid were trailing vs Man City

Georgina Rodriguez has revealed what Manchester United forward and partner Cristiano Ronaldo told her while Real Madrid were losing to Manchester City in the Champions League.

Manchester City headed to Spain with a 4-3 win from the Champions League semi-final first leg, in hopes they would get the job done.

City made it worse for Madrid when Riyad Mahrez scored the opener in the 73rd minute with a beautiful finish.

Several fans had accepted the fact that Manchester City had gone through, given how Real started the game and City’s dominance at Santiago Bernabeu.

Late in the game, Georgina Rodriguez told her partner, Ronaldo, that City had gone through and Real didn’t have a chance but Cristiano Ronaldo advised her that the game wasn’t done until the end of the whistle. Of course, Ronaldo, who spent nine years at Madrid, was right.

“We were watching the Champions League semi-final match between Real Madrid and Manchester City, but around 85 minutes I said it was over so we could sleep,” Georgina said.

Cristiano told me it wasn’t over until the referee blows the final whistle. Well, he was right.”

Real Madrid scored two quick goals from Rodrygo in the 90th and 90+1 minutes, which took the game to extra time as the goal aggregate was 5-5 at the time.

In the first half of the extra time, Karim Benzema scored from the penalty spot and handed Real yet another Champions League final after it ended 3-1 in Spain.

Real Madrid will face Liverpool in May in the Champions League final in Paris.

Ronaldo wouldn’t be in the UCL next season after Manchester United confirmed their top-four defeat last weekend following a 4-0 loss vs Brighton. But that depends if the 37-year-old remains at Old Trafford next season.
