Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has advised Frank Lampard to sign Manchester United midfielder, Donny van de Beek, at Everton.
Van de Beek, who joined Man United from Ajax two seasons ago, has been strongly linked with moves away from Old Trafford in a bid to get regular playing time.
The likes of Crystal Palace and Everton showed interest in signing for the Dutchman on a loan deal this month.
According to official reports, The Toffees have won the transfer race and the midfielder, who has completed his medical, is expected to be announced today by Everton.
‘His confidence is low, but there’s a footballer in there. We saw him at Ajax, the boy can really play.
‘It’s up to Frank now to get the best out of him.
‘He’s been linked with Dele Alli, I’d love to see him take Dele Alli and turn his career around.
‘He’s a great talent, someone somewhere, and Dele Alli also, needs to get him back on track. There’s a great player in there somewhere.’
Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is also attracting a loan move from Newcastle United.
However, there are huge chances that his move to St James’ Park wouldn’t get over the line.
