Darwin Nunez will leave Benfica at 100% this summer

Manchester United may have received a transfer boost in their hunt to sign Benfica forward Darwin Nunez after reports claim the star is 100% going to leave his club in the summer.

Man United are reportedly chasing midfielders, versatile forwards, and at least one centre-back and could potentially sign a right-back in the summer.

Nunez has been linked with a summer exit from Benfica, with the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United and Manchester United said to be his admirers.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Darwin Nunez will leave the Portuguese giants at 100% this summer and has even held talks with Benfica about his desire to quit the club.

The sports journalist also confirmed that Manchester United and Ralf Rangnick had held talks about the prolific forward as early as March but The Red Devils haven’t made any official offer yet.

Erik ten Hag would have a say on whether or not Man United should up their chase for the 22-year-old in the summer.

Jarrod Bowen of West Ham and Christopher Nkunku, RB Leipzig’s forward, have all been linked with moves to United.
