"He's always there when you need him" — Hannibal Mejbri hails 'incredible' Man United star

Manchester United teenager Hannibal Mejbri heaps praise on Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting the forward is an ‘incredible’ player, who is still playing at the ‘very highest’ level.

Ronaldo rejoined Man United from Juventus last summer but has endured a rollercoaster season so far.

The Portuguese icon is poised on finishing the season without a trophy for the first time since 2013.

Though Manchester United have struggled to win games they should have easily won, the 37-year-old forward keeps scoring important goals, just as Hannibal Mejbri and many others have claimed.

Against Tottenham, the former Real Madrid forward scored a hat-trick to help United beat Spurs 3-2.

Though Mejbri hasn’t started alongside Ronaldo in a competitive game so far, the Turkey international could still see the experience and quality the Portugal skipper emits during games.

Regardless of the criticism Ronaldo has endured when he scored only one goal in ten games, Mejbri still believes the Portuguese star is still at the highest level.

Hannibal Mejbri said: “I rub shoulders with the person who has worked the hardest in the world of football: Cristiano Ronaldo. I can only learn from him. Cristiano is at the very, very highest level.

“You can feel the experience he has. When it is necessary to score the winning goal, he will score it.

“He is always there when you need him. Live, it’s very impressive. Facing the goal, it’s incredible.”
