Brandon Williams has claimed that he is determined to play for Manchester United next season as a left-back.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer loaned Williams to Norwich City last year in a bid to continue his development by getting more playing time.
Despite the youngster’s versatility, the youngster found himself behind Luke Shaw and Alex Telles at left-back. Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka made the right-back position hard for him to break through.
As a result, he joined the Canaries to continue his progress and so far, he’s impressed on several occasions at Norwich City.
The 21-year-old is expected to return back to Manchester United when his loan deal with Norwich expires at the end of this current season.
Brandon Williams claims he’s coming back to fight for his place and says he would do anything to ensure he remains in the first team.
“That’s what I’m determined to do because it’s my life and I’ll do anything for that.”
Erik ten Hag will be Manchester United’s boss by the time Williams returns back from his loan at Norwich.
And the English defender will look to impress the Dutchman, just like every other player, in a bid to win the new boss’s trust.
