A Manchester United fan has taken a sly dig at Lionel Messi after Cristiano Ronaldo pulled off a piece of skill against Brentford.
Man United dominated The Bees at Old Trafford in the first 45 minutes, and Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring with a beautiful volley.
Shortly after Fernandes’ opener, United went close to getting their second goal following a beautiful play from Cristiano Ronaldo and Juan Mata.
Ronaldo did a beautiful backheel pass to set Mata through in a shooting position and the Spaniard had his luck but wasn’t successful.
Now, many United fans have taken to Twitter to take a dig at the Portuguese star’s arch rival, Messi, claiming that the PSG forward would break his ankles’ if he attempted what Ronaldo did at ease.
On the stroke of half-time, the 37-year-old forward scored United’s second goal but his effort was ruled out by VAR.
