Manchester United legend Gary Neville has heaped praise on younger Hannibal Mejbri despite playing a role in Liverpool‘s last goal.

Man United were trailing three goals at Anfield before Mejbri was brought in by Ralf Rangnick.

Though the midfielder easily got dispossessed as a result of a bad pass from Harry Maguire, he showed more desire than the majority of United’s first team.

His spirit was unmatched and that was what pleased Neville the most.

Speaking after the final whistle, the former England international said: “It takes a young kid [Hannibal Mejbri] to come on to show them how to sprint and put a challenge in.
