Jadon Sancho has urged his Manchester United team-mates to ‘make the small things right’ after they dropped points against Burnley.
Man United dropped two points when they conceded Burnley’s equaliser in the 47th when Jay Rodriguez scored from a close range.
Paul Pogba had opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a brilliant strike from inside the penalty box.
Manchester United dominated Burnley for the majority of the game but failed to convert from the chances they created.
Somewhat the same thing they suffered against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup fourth round last week when they failed to score from any of the seven clear-cut chances they created.
The Red Devils on several occasions have failed to win games they should have won easily, given the number of chances they created in each of those matches.
Though the former Dortmund star has struggled at Manchester United since his summer move, his recent performances have been really really good.
The forward took to Twitter to react to his side’s disappointing draw against Burnley.
“Not the result we wanted yesterday but we have to keep pushing and make the small things right. 💪🏼 @ManUtd,” said Sancho.
Manchester United have yet another winnable game this weekend when they host Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Man United dropped to 5th after West Ham beat Watford 1-0 on the same night.
