Jadon Sancho names three 'great' players he's learning from at Manchester United

Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho has claimed that he’s feeling blessed as he is ‘learning from the best’ at Old Trafford.

Man United signed Sancho from Borussia Dortmund last summer in a bid to advance Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s chances of lifting silverware this season.

The England international underwhelmed during his first few seasons, failing to score or assist in 15 appearances for The Red Devils, which also played a role in Solskjaer’s sacking due to the club’s poor form.

However, in recent weeks the 21-year-old is one of Manchester United’s top performers, having scored twice and provided two assists in February.

His top performances helped him become one of the top three nominees for the club’s Player of the Month of February award.

Sancho believes he is learning from the best at Manchester United, claiming that playing alongside the likes of Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane gives him a blessed feeling.

‘I’m here with a lot of great players and I’m learning from the best,’ he told United’s official website.

‘You’ve got Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane… all these guys have won major trophies and just being in the changing room with them gives you a blessed feeling.

‘I’m definitely learning from them, on and off the pitch, especially in terms of their recovery and how they make themselves better. I’m taking in all the information I can and trying to put it into my game.’

Manchester United succumbed to a drab goalless draw against Watford at Old Trafford last weekend in the Premier League.

Sancho, who came up as a second-half substitute, will look to help Man United bounce back to winning ways against Manchester City at Etihad on Sunday.
