Jordan Henderson has warned Manchester United that Liverpool are ‘quickly’ looking at bouncing back to winning ways after their defeat to Southampton.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds succumbed to a painful 1-0 defeat to Southampton at St’ Mary’s Stadium on Monday night to further prove Liverpool have been abysmal playing away from home this season.
Danny Ings scored the match-winning goal in the 2nd minute after the reigning champions failed to respond to the Saints’ early lead.

The defeat means Manchester United will go at the top of the Premier League table with three points clear ahead of Liverpool if they successfully beat Burnley at Turf Moor on January 12.
Jordan Henderson is aware of Liverpool’s draws against West Brom and Newcastle United and the recent defeat to the Saints and has claimed that his side is planning on bouncing back to winning ways before their clash against Man United on January 17 at Anfield.

“We’re frustrated, disappointed, but that happens in football,” Jordan Henderson said when asked of Liverpool’s current form.
“It’s how you deal with it is the main thing, so we’ve got an FA Cup game against [Aston] Villa and then in the league we’ve got [Manchester] United so we need to react quickly and bounce back quickly because the last few games, in terms of results, haven’t been good enough.”
