Manchester United loanee Anthony Martial made his Sevilla on Saturday against Osasuna but his performance was not impressive.
Martial started for the La Liga side and played 77 minutes as his new club were held to a frustrating drab draw.
That was Anthony Martial’s first start since November and his third appearance since Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Villarreal in the Champions League.
Many described Martial’s debut as ‘frustrating’ after the 26-year-old failed to have a shot on goal or create a single chance from the left-wing for his side.
After the draw, in which Ivan Rakitic missed from the penalty spot, Lopetegui says Anthony Martial ‘MUST’ give Sevilla more and hints it could take some time for the Man United loanee to adapt to the league.

Lopetegui told AS: “Martial of course must give us much more, he must adapt and enter the dynamics of the team, he has played little this year. But I’m sure he will enter that dynamic.”
Sevilla were four points behind first-placed Real Madrid before the draw. Should Real Madrid win their clash against Granada, The Whites would go six points clear of Sevilla in La Liga.
Anthony Martial’s only goal this season so far came in during Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Everton in the Premier League last year.
