French forward Kylian Mbappe claims PSG ‘know how to react’ to defeat after last week’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United at Parc des Princes.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring from the penalty spot but Anthony Martial would score an own goal, whilst attempting to clear off Neymar’s cross, to put the Parisians back into the game.
The tie at Paris didn’t end there. Marcus Rashford scored a late goal to ensure the Reds beat PSG twice in a row away from home.
Kylian Mbappe’s PSG will take a trip to Turkey to face Instanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday and the World Cup winner is keen to get revenge against the Red Devils to ensure PSG progress.
“The matches succeed each other quickly and we’ll try to win in Istanbul in order to honour the shirt and the club.
“All matches are important, but when you play every two or three days, it remains difficult, even if you are the biggest competitor.”
Man United will welcome PSG at home on December 2 and depending on how other two teams played their clashes, the showdown at Old Trafford will be nothing short of a decisive game that may decide who qualifies for the knockout stages of the competition.
