Malcolm Ebiowei has snubbed Manchester United to seal Crystal Palace transfer

Manchester United have received a huge transfer blow in their pursuit of Derby County winger, Malcolm Ebiowei, after the youngster decided to join Crystal Palace.

Man United showed interest in the forward but were challenged by fellow Premier League side, Palace, for Ebiowei’s signature.

However, after the 18-year-old weighed his options carefully, he decided to snub a move to Old Trafford in a bid to favour a move to Selhurst Park.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Malcolm Ebiowei, who completed his medical this week, is now set on signing a new deal with Crystal Palace that will run until 2027.

Ebiowei believes he has a better chance of breaking into The Eagles’ first team and cementing his place than at Manchester United, given the number of quality wingers currently at Erik ten Hag’s disposal.

The likes of Anthony Elanga, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are all present at the club plus United are linked with a summer move for Ajax forward Antony.
