Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he is feeling good with his fitness level ahead of Chelsea trip.
The Portuguese midfielder joined Man United last month from Sporting Lisbon for a reported £46.7m fee.
Upon his arrival, the 25-year-old needed just one training session before making his Man United debut.
Fernandes’ performance against Wolves was decent and he received several compliments from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, fans and pundits.
Ahead of next week’s trip to Stamford Bridge, Fernandes, currently in Marbella for some warm-weather training, posts that he is getting stronger.
Fernandes tweeted on Monday evening: “Feeling good and getting stronger here in Marbella with the rest of the lads!’
So far at Marbella, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently revealed how Fernandes has impressed him during training sessions.
The Norwegian boss stated that the midfielder has lots of qualities that will help take the team forward.
“We have some news lads settling in and we’ve enjoyed watching Bruno Fernandes settling into the group this week,’ he told the club website.
“Overall, he is a very, very good footballer and his brain is obviously quicker than many others.
“He has got loads of attributes that we are going to get used to. We will get used to him and he will get used to us.
‘His passing range, his deliveries, his movements, I am just pleased to see him here enjoying himself.’
‘It looks like you’ll have to drag him off the training pitch,’ Solskjaer added.
Man United, currently in the 8th position, are six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea and both teams will lock horns next week Monday at Stamford Bridge.
