Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing PSV defensive midfielder Ibrahim Sangaré, who is said to be keen on Premier League football.

Man United are obviously interested in signing a defensive midfielder this summer, following the summer exits of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.

Several midfielders have been linked with moves to Old Trafford since the appointment of Erik ten Hag as United manager, including the likes of Frenkie de Jong and Declan Rice.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United and Chelsea are the two Premier League sides that have shown interest in signing Ibrahim Sangaré.

The same outlet claims that the 24-year-old defensive midfielder, who is believed to have €35million release clause in his contract, is keen on moving to England and is already convinced he would be playing in the Premier League next season.

United have identified the midfield department as their priority but are also planning on improving their backline and frontline.

Ibrahim Sangaré played 29 Eredivisie matches this season and scored three goals from the midfield. He also played six Champions League game games for PSV.
