Michael Owen has predicted the final outcome for the Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Man United are unbeaten in their last three matches under former caretaker manager, Michael Carrick.
The club legend secured a comfortable 2-0 win at Villarreal, squeezed out a 1-1 draw at Chelsea before rounding off his duty with a 3-2 win at home to Arsenal on Thursday.
Now, Manchester United will look to continue their impressive form under their new boss Ralf Rangnick, who replaces Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a temporary basis.
Owen believes United can secure a tight win over Crystal Palace, who have lost their last two Premier League matches.
The former Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United forward also believes the game won’t be easy for the Red Devils and is keen on seeing how Rangnick would manage Cristiano Ronaldo in his squad.
“It will be very interesting to see how Ralf Rangnick gets on as the United boss and how he manages Ronaldo.
“That’s now two defeats in a row for Palace. They had a few chances against Leeds on Tuesday but to concede in the last minute must be a tough one to take.
“Palace have given the top sides some problems this season, and I don’t think this will be easy for United. I think they will have just too much though, 2-1 for Man United.”
