Manchester United will lock horns with Granada in the Europa League quarter-final and the first leg will be played at away.
Man United reached the last eight of the Europa League competition after eliminating AC Milan in the round of 16.
In fact, United’s journey in the competition began after they got eliminated from the Champions League in the group stage.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were drawn against Real Sociedad in the round of 32 but the Red Devils handled it with care without conceding a single goal against the Spanish side.
The first leg ended 4-0 at Turin last month and the return leg ended in a goalless draw at Old Trafford.
Upon sealing their place in the Europa League round of 16, Manchester United had to get past the Serie A side, AC Milan in a bid to advance their chances of finally winning silverware under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United eliminated Milan at the San Siro on Thursday night, thanks to a lone goal from Paul Pogba. The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last week.
Now, Manchester United will look to get past Granada, who eliminated Molde Thursday night despite losing 2-1.
The Spanish side were 2 goals in front from the first leg last week but staged a qualification with 3-2 goal aggregate.
