Several fans are admitting after the Watford draw that Manchester United are clearly missing Mason Greenwood in the team.

Man United have endured yet another game that they deserved to win but poor finishing in the face of goal, forced them to settle for a drab draw.

United have only scored more than two goals per match twice in six games, and those were against Brighton and Hove Albion and Leeds United.

Mason Greenwood’s absence has clearly cost Manchester United some points, given his ability to score important goals such as these [Burnley, Southampton, Atletico Madrid and now, Watford].

Greenwood was suspended by Man United after his ex-girlfriend accused him of domestic violence in early February. Upon further investigation, the 20-year-old was charged with rape and death threats.

His case is ongoing, hence why his last appearance in a United shirt was against West Ham United, just before the international break.

Some fans are admitting that they have missed Mason Greenwood in the team, with one claiming he would rather have him in handcuffs upfront.

This trend emerged after the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes missed a host of big chances against Watford, something Greenwood would have at least converted 80% of them.

Polaris tweeted: “Moments like this i miss #11 mason greenwood.”

A fan said: “Free greenwood.. Could have been easy win if we had him on the pitch

A fan tweeted: “Hate to say it but he genuinely would have got 8 goals out of Watford, Southampton, Middlesbrough and Burnley.”

In Greenwood’s absence, Jadon Sancho has been able to bounce back to his best but on the finishing end, Greenwood has been badly missed, according to many fans.
