Manchester United fear that could be forced to face West Brom at Old Trafford without Harry Maguire due to an injury.

Man United are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they host the Baggies this weekend and could be without Maguire in the squad.

The former Leicester City centre-half played the full 90 minutes as England thrashed Iceland 4-0 at Wembley on Wednesday night.

Despite playing every minute of the game, ESPN report that the Man United skipper complained to England’s medical staff about his foot after the final whistle and the Reds will assess the centre-back’s fitness at their Carrington training complex on Thursday.

Harry Maguire’s centre-back partner, Victor Lindelof, is also in a race to declare himself fit in time to help Manchester United take on West Brom.

The former Benfica defender recently complained about playing through several Man United matches with a back injury and was substituted early in the second half during Sweden’s 3-2 defeat to Portugal on Tuesday.

With United’s preferred centre-backs struggling to be fit for Saturday’s clash against West Brom, the likes of Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly could start at the back.
