Manchester United have received a transfer boost in their pursuit of Villarreal star Arnaut Danjuma, who is reportedly a Liverpool transfer target.

Man United are expected to make some new signings in the summer in a bid to hand Erik ten Hag the support he needs to challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Several decent players have been linked with summer moves to Old Trafford already, with the likes of Frankie de Jong, Christopher Nkunku and now, Danjuma.

According to Marca, Manchester United have received a boost in the transfer race to sign Villarreal’s winger Arnaut Danjuma as it emerged he will be available for his €45m release clause this summer.

The same outlet confirmed that Liverpool, who signed Luis Diaz in January, are also in the race to sign the Netherlands international.

Danjuma, 25, scored 6 goals in 11 Champions League games and also played a huge role in Villarreal’s run to the semi-final.

The forward also boasts of 10 goals in 23 appearances in La Liga this season.

Should Arnaut Danjuma successfully move to Old Trafford, he could challenge the likes of Anthony Elanga, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho for places in the wide areas.
