Manchester United squad vs Arsenal revealed: Three senior players not spotted

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has revealed his travelling squad for the Arsenal game but as many as three senior players are missing.

Man United will look to build on their last weekend form when they play visitors to Arsenal on Sunday evening.

The Red Devils came from two goals down to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at Old Trafford last time and while the Gunners were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by ten men Fulham.

Ten Hag will want to end United’s five years winless run at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow but is likely to do that without three senior players.

According to MEN, the likes of Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay weren’t spotted with the travelling Manchester United squad.

It is left to know whether the trio will later join up with the team in London or not but the latter is the case, Ten Hag will explain on Sunday the reasons behind their absences.

However, Man United have good news to report as new signings Altay Bayindir, Sergio Reguilon and Rasmus Hojlund travelled to north London with their new team-mates.

Deadline signing Sofyan Amrabat wasn’t included in the squad as he didn’t arrive in Manchester in time.

United have won two of their opening three Premier League fixtures and will look to maintain their momentum against Mikel Arteta’s side.
