Manchester United squad vs Wolves: at least five senior players absent

Manchester United squad has been revealed and they could be without their skipper Harry Maguire in their squad against Wolves on Monday.

Man United players made their way into the team’s Lowry Hotel on Sunday ahead of their clash against the Wanderers at Old Trafford.

According to MEN, there was no sign of Harry Maguire in the squad and he is increasingly likely to miss the game.

Eric Bailly was not in the squad because he has returned to Ivory Coast to prepare for the upcoming AFCON.

Victor Lindelof remains on the sidelines as he is still recovering from COVID-19. Anthony Martial, who last made the United squad against Arsenal, was left out yet again by Ralf Rangnick as his future remains unresolved.

Paul Pogba remains on the sidelines with a muscle injury and Rangnick confirmed in December that the World Cup winner is a ‘few weeks’ away from returning to full fitness.

Speaking of Martial’s recent absences from the Manchester United squad, Ralf Rangnick: “It has nothing to do with injuries.

“He [Anthony Martial] made it very clear that he wants to leave and I can understand his wish to play more regularly somewhere else.”
