Manchester United have a chance to take on Wolves with Eric Bailly in the starting lineup, according to The Athletics.

Man United will look to extend their unbeaten run to nine games against the Wanderers tonight and could achieve that with Bailly in the lineup.

Harry Maguire has been ruled out of the game with an injury, Victor Lindelof is still recovering from COVID-19.

As a result, Ralf Rangnick has only Raphael Varane and Phil Jones as his centre-back options.

Eric Bailly, who last week delayed his trip to Ivory Coast for the AFCON in order to feature against Burnley, could take part against Wolves despite not being seen at the team hotel on Sunday.

Bailly, who paired alongside Maguire, was replaced by Varane midway through the second half against the Clarets after picking up a slight knock.

But The Athletics have reported that Eric Bailly has a chance to start alongside Raphael Varane at the back against the West Midlands side tonight, despite not being seen with the United squad on Sunday.

The same report holds that Rangnick could leave it late to decide who would play along with Varane at the back vs Wolves.

The German boss would consider starting one of Phil Jones, Nemanja Matic, Luke Shaw, or Aaron Wan-Bissaka alongside the France star, only if Bailly’s chances of making the squad were nullified.
