Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea wins the man of the match award after his superb display against Norwich City.
Man United secured a tight 1-0 win over Norwich on Saturday evening in order to keep their Premier League top-four push alive.
Both teams failed to break the deadlock in the first half, though United had four shots on targets, failing to convert any to goals.
In the second half, David de Gea was tested several times but the Spaniard passed them all.
Midway through the second half, the Manchester United goalie was forced to make a full-stretch save to keep United in the game after punching Pukki’s close-range strike.
The 31-year-old was called into action again after Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal from the penalty spot but this time he punched away a Norwich City star’s header.
In total, David de Gea made five saves to deny Norwich a chance to celebrate in their own stadium.
Following his resounding display at the back, Sky Sport hand De Gea the Man of the Match award.
The win over Norwich becomes Manchester United’s third Premier League win in a row and second clean sheet in a row.
