Manchester United will face Wolves in their last game of the Premier League 2020-2021 season and will look to finish the season without a defeat on the road.
Man United have gone 18 away matches unbeaten in the league this season and the Red Devils will hope they maintain that unbeaten run on Sunday afternoon.
It is obvious that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will field a weakened side against the Wanderers as United will face Villareal on Tuesday, three days after the Wolves game, in the Europa League final at Gdansk.
Before guessing how United’s starting XI will look like against Wolves, we should take a look at the available players for the game.
Manchester United team news
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled out Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire from Sunday’s trip to Molineux Stadium due to injury issues.
Both first team players have shown positive signs in their recoveries but are not yet ready for a competitive match.
The Norwegian also revealed that Daniel James is fit to face Wolves after missing United’s last two matches with injury.
“Dan [James] will be involved [against Wolves], said Solskjaer. “Unfortunately, I don’t think Anthony [Martial] will make this one for the squad so Harry [Maguire] and Anthony are still working hard to be available for the final.
“We’re recovering with him [Maguire] and resting with him. He’s not at the stage where he can work hard yet. He’s walking on it now but still it’s a long way from walking to playing football.
“He’s [Maguire] walking but it’s a long way from walking to running so, to be honest, I don’t think we’ll see him in Gdansk, no.
I’ve going to give him [Maguire] until Tuesday night and the last training session, to see if he can be out there — steadily he is improving but we’re going to give him time to heal.”
