Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that the likes of Alex Telles and Fred will be in contention to face Brighton and Hove Albion while Edinson Cavani and Nemanja Matic will miss the tie.
Man United are anxious to get back to winning ways when they host Brighton at Old Trafford on Tuesday night in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have gone winless in their last three matches in all competitions (2D 1L), despite scoring first in each of those games.
United will try to bounce back to winning ways this midweek and maybe they would eventually get the result that reflects their performance but this time, they will have both Telles and Fred in the fold, though the former was an unused sub against Southampton.
Alex Telles missed United’s games against Middlesbrough and Burnley due to COVID-19 but returned last weekend while Fred, due to the same cause, missed United’s games against Burnley and Southampton.
Cavani suffered a groin injury hours before the clash against The Saints and will be without Matic, who missed the clash as well.
“Alex [Telles] is back again in the squad – he was already part of the group for the Southampton game – and he will also be available.”
