Manchester United want six players out but further six players want out

Manchester United want six players out of the club at the end of the season but a further six players want to leave the club due to lack of playing time, according to reports.

According to Daily Mirror, Man United have at least six players who would leave as free agents when their current contracts run out at the end of the season.

The same outlet reported that at least a further six players including Eric Bailly, Dean Henderson, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones, and Axel Tuanzebe all want to leave the club in the summer due to lack of playing time.

According to different sources, Erik ten Hag would become Manchester United’s next boss and the Dutchman is expected to make some signings this summer, which would further push the players mentioned above down in the pecking order if they decided to remain at United.

Daily Mirror reported that the Ajax manager has already prepared a list of players he wants at Old Trafford, including his £70 million-rated Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.

They also reported that Manchester United may be willing to let some of these six players, who want out at the end of the season, leave this summer once new signings are made, but not until towards the end of the transfer window.

Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, and Paul Pogba are all out of contracts at the end of the season.
