Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sent his condolences to Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina after the couples announced the death of one of their twins.
After scoring a hat-trick that helped Man United beat Norwich City 3-2 on Saturday with, Ronaldo would rather start the week grieving the loss of his child.
The forward announced in the late hours of Monday that they lost their baby boy during Georgina’s child delivery.
However, in sorrow, he admitted he found joy, as one of the twins, the baby girl, was delivered safely.
In his statement, Ronaldo said: “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”
Marcus Rashford sent his condolences to his team-mate following the tragic news.
“Thoughts are with you and Georgina brother. I’m so sorry,” Rashford tweeted.
