Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has refused to throw in the towel after Liverpool’s humiliation at Anfield tonight.
Liverpool scored unanswered four goals against Man United to move to the top of the Premier League table, also thwarting United’s hopes of finishing in the top-four.
United are three points behind 4th placed Tottenham, having played a game more, but Bruno Fernandes is refusing to give up just yet.
Manchester United will also face the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in their remaining six league matches.

When asked whether he wants the season to be done already, Fernandes told Sky Sports: “No, no that cannot happen. We represent a big club. We are competing until the end.”
On Manchester United’s disappointing defeat to Liverpool, the Portuguese midfielder admits their performance was drastic.
“It’s a bad result once again,” said Fernandes. “Apologies to the fans but that will never be enough.”
