Norwich City vs Manchester United: Predicted starting lineup

Norwich City vs Manchester United: Predicted starting lineup

Manchester United will look to extend their unbeaten run to six games when they play visitors to Norwich City on Saturday in the Premier League.

Man United since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Watford defeat haven’t lost in their last five matches [3W2D], including Wednesday’s 1-1 draw vs Young Boys.

The Red Devils would look to continue their decent run of form against Norwich City in a bid to advance their top-four push.

Ralf Rangnick weakened his squad against Young Boys in order to give the young players and other senior players, who had struggled to get playing time, a chance to impress. Against Norwich, the German is expected to use the same starting lineup he used against Crystal Palace.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka suffered an injury against Young Boys and has been ruled out of the clash, making Diogo Dalot the favourite to start at right-back.

Donny van de Beek played every minute on Wednesday and he’s expected to return back to the bench. Mason Greenwood, Manchester United’s goalscorer vs Young Boys, would also return back to the bench.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof would retain their starting roles after Matic and Bailly paired together vs Young Boys.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are set to lead United’s attack, with Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Scott McTominay to start in the midfield.

Predicted Manchester United starting lineup vs Norwich City

GK: David de Gea
DF: Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles
MF: Fred, Fernandes, McTominay
FW: Sancho, Ronaldo, Rashford

Manchester United have 24 points from 15 Premier League matches and would need a massive win margin against Norwich if they were to force their way into the top-four this weekend but that is dependent on West Ham dropping points.
