Paul Pogba breaks silence after fans booed him during Norwich City clash

Paul Pogba said today’s win over Norwich City is an ‘important’ win for everyone at Manchester United after he got booed by his supporters.

Man United secured a tight 3-2 win over Norwich at Old Trafford, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick.

While Pogba was being replaced by Marcus Rashford late in the game, Manchester United fans booed him. Some fans also chanted ‘f**k off Pogba’.

It is understandable, given his disappointing performance, most especially, in the second half.

After the final whistle, Pogba was heading into the dressing room but got booed again by the home fans immediately he cupped his ears. Watch here.

Ralf Rangnick has since condemned the act from the home fans, insisting the reaction Pogba received was not fair.

The World Cup winner took to Twitter to react to today’s hard-earned victory.

Pogba tweeted: “Very important win for all of us today!”

Rangnick said: “I didn’t hear, but I was told after the game.

“I can totally understand the fans being frustrated, but I don’t think they should be targeting players individually. This is not right or fair.”
