Ralf Rangnick started Pogba on the bench because he wanted fresh legs in the team, hence why Fred started alongside Scott McTominay in the midfield.
Upon his cameo late in the game, the France star put out an outstanding performance, signing it off with the assist to Bruno Fernandes‘ last-minute goal.
Shortly after the final whistle, Paul Pogba was seen reaching out to a fan in order to hand him the jersey he wore against The Seagulls. The fan would kiss the jersey before he posed for photos.
The fan took to Twitter to praise Pogba’s ‘class’ gesture, stating that his cousin would cherish the moment for the rest of his life. And the tweet has since gone viral on Twitter.
Mohammed tweeted: “Class act by Paul Pogba by giving my cousin his shirt,he will cherish this moment for the rest of his life!!”

While Paul Pogba heads into the tunnel, the fans at the area where his kind gesture took place gave him a warm ovation.
The midfielder, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season, has provided eight assists in the Premier League this season so far, from which he has assisted Fernandes four times.
Cristiano Ronaldo had opened the scoring early in the second half with a stunning strike, with Ralf Rangnick describing the Portuguese star’s performance as one of the best he has seen since he took over.
Rangnick said: “It was an amazing goal and also a good performance from Cristiano. He was always trying to help his team-mates. In the last weeks, definitely the best performance from him.”
