Reports emerged on Thursday morning that Mino Raiola, a super agent to Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has passed away after a brief illness but his right-hand man José Fortes has rubbished such claim.
Several top outlets have announced the passing of Raiola after a sudden illness, but Fortes confirmed these reports to be rumours.
Speaking to NOSsport: “He’s in a bad position, but he hasn’t died.”
Sports journalist guru Fabrizio Romano has also reported an update from the hospital the Italian agent was reportedly rushed to.
Dr. Alberto Zangrillo from San Raffaele Hospital in Milano tells Ansa said on Mino Raiola’s conditions: “I’m outraged by the phone calls from pseudo-journalists speculating on the life of a man who is fighting to survive,” Romano tweeted.
Mino Raiola’s official Twitter handle took a swipe at those, who reported he has died.
“Current health status for the ones wondering: pissed off second time in 4 months they kill me. Seem also able to ressuscitate,” Raiola’s official handle says.
