Former England international Paul Scholes has revealed that Jesse Lingard told him Manchester United’s dressing room is ‘a disaster’.

Man United suffered another top-four setback after suffering a 3-1 defeat against Arsenal in London on Saturday lunchtime.

The Red Devils are increasingly likely to miss out on a top-four finish this term following the defeat.

United have endured mixed performances this season and as a result, they are set on letting a good number of first-team players including Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, and Nemanja Matic all leave the club in the summer.

The new boss, Erik ten Hag, obviously has a lot of work to do at Old Trafford, both on and off the pitch.

And former United midfielder, Scholes, speaking after United’s loss to Arsenal, claimed that he has recently spoken to Jesse Lingard who offered a bleak insight into just how bad the current situation is.

“I had a quick chat With Jesse [Lingard] the other day,” Scholes told DAZN. “I’m sure he won’t mind me saying – that dressing room is a disaster.”

This emerged after Eric Bailly took to Instagram to beg Ralf Rangnick to hand him more playing time at Manchester United.
