Manchester United will host Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday night in the Premier League and down below is our predicted starting lineup.
Man United are anxious to get back to winning ways, having failed to record a win in their last three matches in all competitions.
It would be a big task for the Red Devils to do tonight, given the form Brighton are currently, recording no defeat in their last eight Premier League matches, including last weekend’s impressive 2-0 win at Watford.
Manchester United have failed to win games they should have won, their inability to convert from loads of clear-cut chances they created against Middlesbrough, Burnley and Southampton.
Should United put out the same performance and this time become ruthless in front of the goal, then The Seagulls could be about to have their unbeaten run cut at Old Trafford.
Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t scored for Manchester United this year, six matches without a goal, despite having a few great chances from must-score positions.
Marcus Rashford has also been abysmal in the face of goal, and many fans are demanding the German boss to drop the England international.
United only have Anthony Elanga available, who can play both as a centre forward and a winger. Edinson Cavani has been ruled out of the clash with an ongoing groin injury. Mason Greenwood remains suspended due to the charges on him and Anthony Martial has already joined Sevilla on loan.
Rangnick can only drop either Cristiano Ronaldo or Marcus Rashford to the bench BUT can also drop both players if he decides to play Paul Pogba at left-wing and Anthony Elanga at centre-forward while Scott McTominay, Fred, and Bruno Fernandes start in the midfield.
I don’t see the German boss agreeing to the latter suggestion, which is why either Rashford or Ronaldo could be dropped tonight against Brighton.
Harry Maguire has also been embarrassing at the back, with fans also urging Ralf Rangnick to pair Victor Lindelof alongside Raphael Varane.
Diogo Dalot has also not really shown the reason why Aaron Wan-Bissaka deserves to be on the bench. Somehow, some fans still want the Portuguese star to continue playing.
Would Ralf Rangnick decide to make the two big decisions by dropping Harry Maguire and either Cristiano Ronaldo or Marcus Rashford tonight?
