Manchester United will welcome Young Boys at Old Trafford on Wednesday night in the Champions League and Ralf Rangnick is expected to make a couple of changes to his last starting line.
Though Man United have already finished the group stage as the winners of Group F, the Red Devils will be looking to finish the stage on a high.
Young Boys won United in the reverse fixture, which is another reason Manchester United are not planning on taking this fixture lightly, at least Diogo Dalot has already warned the Switzerland side to expect tough games from United.
Rangnick said on Tuesday that Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek will start for United vs Young Boys and confirmed that both Anthony Elanga and Amad Diallo will feature as well.
Since we are aware that both Henderson and Van de Beek are sure starters, alongside Nemanja Matic, who is expected to captain the Reds, below are the three players expected to make the starting lineup.
Eric Bailly: The Ivory Coast international is expected to start alongside Victor Lindelof, while Harry Maguire is set to start on the bench in a bid to be fully energised for the Norwich game.
Cristiano Ronaldo: Mr Champions League wouldn’t dare to rest as long as it is a Champions League game. He is the highest goalscorer in the competition and each time he plays, he gets the chance to extend his stats.
Mason Greenwood: Ralf Rangnick has spoken highly of the youngstar. He brought him in as a late sub against Crystal Palace and the Englishman brought the assist to Fred’s goal. Rangnick would want to see what Greenwood can do from the start.
Our predicted Manchester United starting lineup vs Young Boys
GK: Dean Henderson
DF: Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Bailly, Telles
MF: Matic, Van de Beek, Lingard
FW: Greenwood, Ronaldo, Rashford
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is another player, who is expected to start for the Red Devils after he was left on the bench vs Crystal Palace.
