Below is our predicted Manchester United starting lineup against Middlesbrough at Old Trafford tonight in the FA Cup clash.
Man United have a chance to record their third win in a row when they host Boro in tonight’s FA Cup fourth round, having won their previous games 3-1 and 1-0 against Brentford and West Ham United in the Premier League respectively.
Manchester United are set on doing that without a number of their first team players.
The good news is that, the likes of Paul Pogba, who last featured against Atalanta in November, and Luke Shaw, whose last display came in against Aston Villa in the FA Cup on January 10, are both in contention for the game.
“Paul [Pogba] will be part of the group [against Middlesbrough]. He might even be in the starting XI.”
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to return to the team, after he trained with the team this week. The right-back has missed United’s last three games due to illness and was an unused substitute against Aston Villa in the FA Cup against Villa.
Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay are expected to start in the midfield, alongside Pogba in the attacking line.
Bruno Fernandes could start on the bench, with Burnley’s game due in four days time.
Marcus Rashford, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho to lead Manchester United’s attacking line.
It would be fun to see Dean Henderson in goal, as he last featured under the German boss against Young Boys in the Champions League.
