Ralf Rangnick confirms five Manchester United players will miss Norwich City clash

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that five players will miss the clash against Norwich City.

Man United will look to bounce back to winning ways against The Canaries, following their shock 1-0 loss against Everton last time out.

And The Red Devils will push for the victory over Norwich without the likes of Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, Edinson Cavani, Fred and Scott McTominay, according to Ralf Rangnick.

Fred came off injured in the first half against Everton and was replaced by Paul Pogba.

McTominay missed the clash due to an injury and is poised to miss another crucial clash.

In their absences, Pogba and Nemanja Matic are now expected to start in the midfield alongside Bruno Fernandes.

Shaw and Varane, who also missed the loss at Goodison Park, will be replaced again by Alex Telles and Victor Lindelof respectively.

Should Manchester United pull off the expected win at Norwich, they will cut the gap behind 4th-placed Tottenham to three points but Spurs will have a game in hand.
