Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick was pleased with Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance against Chelsea.

United threatened to complete their comeback in the last ten minutes of the action at Old Trafford but failed to create that one perfect chance that would have changed the game entirely.

The Portuguese star was voted as the King of the match by Budweiser and Rangnick was completely pleased with the 37-year-old’s performance and work rate.

Rangnick told Sky Sports: “Not only the goal Cristiano scored but his whole performance, his attitude at age of 37, this is not normal to do that.

“If he plays like he did today he can still be a big help to this team.”
