Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has ruled four key players out of the Everton clash but confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the mix.
Man United will continue their top-four hunt when they face struggling Everton away from home during lunchtime on Saturday.
United dropped two valuable points when they played a 1-1 draw against Leicester City last time out but Arsenal’s thrashing at Crystal Palace has only handed Manchester United a chance to continue their quest.
However, The Red Devils’ chances of keeping up with the pace in the top-four might have been thwarted as they could likely face Frank Lampard’s side without the likes of Edinson Cavani, Scott McTominay, Raphael Varane, and Luke Shaw in the squad.
“Cristiano [Ronaldo] is back again,” Rangnick said. “Luke [Shaw] is still injured, he’s having problems with his leg where he had an operation in 2015. He will be out for the next two or three weeks.”

Rangnick on Luke Shaw’s injury: “The doctor told me they decided to remove two metal bolts in his leg and this will happen tomorrow.”
The German boss also confirmed that Edinson Cavani and Scott McTominay are also injured, as well as Raphael Varane.
“[Edinson] Cavani is still injured, Varane is still injured and the same is true with [Scott] McTomiany I’m afraid,” Rangnick added.
